During our family vacation at Pension Muehlencafe, we found a welcoming atmosphere perfect for exploration in the Black Forest. The kids especially enjoyed the well-furnished family apartment, complete with a washing machine-a lifesaver after our outdoor adventures. Conveniently located, the pension is just off the 500 road and offers gentle hiking trails that lead to charming villages and grazing cows, which kept our children entertained. We appreciated the onsite restaurant; although the food wasn't quite to my taste, the generous portions and simplicity suited our family's needs. My under-3-year-old savored the child-friendly options. The Hochschwarzwald Card allowed us to access various local activities, and the tranquil setting enhanced our overall experience.
